
Medical Sales Specialist
Territory – Leinster

Why this role exists
The purpose of this role is to cover an existing, mature Territory in the Leinster area. The key accounts to be covered will be in the Dublin area but also covering other counties.
This role would suit an experienced Medical Device sales rep, who is familiar with hospital sales processes in this area, or someone coming from a Clinical role looking to get into Sales, or someone who has sales experience in another industry and can show us they could make a success of the role.
Examples of the product portfolio mix that the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Aid and appliances
Patient safety devices
Anesthetic consumables
Medical Trolleys
Surface Wipes
This could be a great opportunity for someone with the right personal qualities who’d like to get into Medical Sales but lacks what they perceive to be the right experience.
This business unit sells a varied portfolio of products, so adaptability is crucial.
You will work closely with our partner companies and HCP’s providing solutions in both Hospital and HSE primary care settings.
The role involves providing presenting our focus products, discovering new opportunities and discussing contracts with decision makers.
Working as part of a small team, the area to be covered is well established and the products are well thought of in the healthcare sector, both Public and Private.
This business unit makes a significant contribution to the overall company turnover.
Full product training will be provided.
Ideally location is Dublin or surrounding Counties.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Achieve Sales targets across the product portfolio.
Maintain existing business & grow the business through existing accounts
Foster excellent relations with all customers and key decision makers
Present a professional image of Brennan & Co.
Provide reports, analysis, and territory planner to the Sales Manager.
All administrative duties should be completed in a correct and timely fashion.
Work entails daily interfacing with a variety of KOL’s within several hospital / community disciplines to include Drs., OT’s, all Nursing staff, and Purchasing Personnel.
Skills and Experience
Degree level preferably in a scientific/medical or business-related discipline.
Nursing or experience in Medical Device sales (3 years minimum) to the HSE is desirable but not mandatory
Excellent interpersonal skills
Skilled in time management and highly organised
Strong Account and Territory Management skills required.
Full, clean driving license
